We only had one available scholarship and it was him or Frank Jackson

with emery, haws, and jackson committed it didn't make a ton of sense to sign a guard that was under 6'0 when we had three highly recruited guys committed that would be playing the 1 and 2 who weren't super tall. Yes we would obviously love to have him now.
