Also, Mangum was the #3 rated Pro-style QB compared to McKee who is #7.

Mangum actually rated as a slightly HIGHER recruit than McKee has, though both would be of similar caliber. Mangum committed early and everyone knew that he was 100% BYU which is the only reason he didn't get more offers. He also played in Idaho which I'm sure impacted his recruiting some as well.
