Seems like just yesterday that according to majority of CBers Porter Gustin's dad was Satan and BYU dodged a huge bullet by not having a future top 45 draft pick.

Funny thing is... Lavar Ball's antics and helicopter parent ish ways vs Porter's dad are not even in the same universe. Porter's dad was the pre school version while Lavar Ball had his PHD in helicopter parenting.

I always felt the over the top judging of Porter and his Dad was simply insecure byu fans who were mad that he wasn't ever going to consider byu. Seeing Lavar get support on here pretty well proves that.
