I agree that there are many majors and fields that make BYU a much better choice (academically) than Duke. For one, there are a lot of majors that Duke doesn't even offer. There are probably even some majors that both schools offer where you'd be better off at BYU. And I'm not trying to take away from the prestige of those majors (Accounting, Advertising, etc.) at BYU that I know are nationally recognized. BYU has some top-notch programs.

But Game Changer asked people to give specific examples of degrees that are more prestigious at BYU than at Duke, and all of the responses that were given are degrees Duke doesn't even offer. For the same reason I roll my eyes when Utes compare their medical school to our (non-existent) medical school, I rolled my eyes when we were comparing some of our top-tier majors to (non-existent) majors at Duke.
