Lately I have tried to figure out why people get so bitter against the church
could be many variables.

I was talking with my brother yesterday and he has seen the service and sacrifice of the church for even members not of our faith and I think of all the good the church has done and wonder why people are so bitter towards it.

We knew there had to be opposition in it. If it wasn't true there wouldn't be such opposition with it, but I wonder what other variables there are.

Financially taking away from other religions (religion is a business)

They feel threatened?

They feel insecure about members practicing their faith that asks more from its members than other religions?

They have been offended by its members?

I guess there are tons of variables, but it would be nice to narrow it down and figure it out in a simple sentence or two.
