That looks like artificial turf to me. The less time on that the better.
I get that that is what is in our indoor practice facilities. I would just prefer a good grass field for most practices. Better on the legs.
Growing up there watching Ricks football for many years it was a nice grass field. I much prefer that to artificial turf.
