Better defense, better offense, or a combination of the two would make most of us happy.
I don't believe it was offensive woes that allowed UVU to score 114 points on us, or that allowed eight other teams to score more than 80 points on us.
Improved shooting (especially by the bench players) and learning to run a half court offense utilizing a couple of more options than just passing it inside to Mika, would be very helpful.
But playing defense better than the average 7th grade team might be a better place to focus.
I don't believe the coaching staff as currently constituted can fix the defensive woes.
