If you are going to have a car, download Luxe. It's by far the best way to park in tne city. They come to you and pick up your car, and when you are ready to get it, they bring it to you regardless of where you are. And the rates are much cheaper than the parking garage rates.

Download Off the Grid. There is an entire food truck network in the Bay and it will tell you when and where the food truck gatherings are, which trucks, and their menus. The food is pretty good, and you'll get slightly cheaper prices than walking into random restaurants (although all food in SF is expensive)
