You give the P5 status too much credit IMO. We are stronger at the top of sked
than the majority of P5. We have 12 games vs FBS teams (most P5 programs only play 11 games vs FBS; Baylor just 10 recently).
No one good will apparently schedule us after mid-october? But the SOS link to that CBS article shows that the top strength of our schedule more than makes up for the weakness in our bottom half. That's why CBS data shows our schedule as harder than 25 P5 teams.

I think it's absolute lunacy to say our schedule even compares. We play two great teams. 3 good teams. And 8 bad teams.
