My son has fevers that last a week sometimes. He's going through one now.
He also gets febrile seizures which are harmless but kind of scary so we try to really stay on top of his fevers.
We make sure he stays hydrated, give him a couple cool baths throughout the day, keep him in light clothes, and then we do the Tylenol/Motrin rotation. Tylenol every 4 hours, Motrin every 6. They can have both at the same time.
