When ESPN first started people wondered how they could fill 24 hours with sports
content, but they successfully did. But then they had the audacity to try and fill half a dozen channels with 24/7 content and it watered down the product. Even worse, when viewers started bailing because the product was diluted and overvalued, they refused to consolidate their products and or improve their content.
