Why would a rumor of a possible coach being brought on as an assistant cause one to speculate that Emery might not have a future at BYU? A lot of assumptions based on pretty much nothing have to be made to come to that conclusion at this point. Even if the defensive philosophy shifted and Nick was asked to give up his shots and focus more on defense, that's not that different than what he already had done to a degree this last season and I doubt would cause him to transfer.
