The nurse just didn't look at the computer. She didn't know that the Dr. had discharged us until I told her 1.5 hours later. Glad that you can take the time to accuse me of being self important, but not all healthcare workers are thinking of their patients. They are spread thin in some cases, but in other cases they don't seem to prioritize the patients time. It should not take 4 hours from the time a Dr. discharges you until you can get out of the hospital, it just doesn't make sense. This is systemic and correctable.
