weren't any good (as you properly noted). Now, because they started being good, I got to see a bit more of them during the season. I LOVE Stanley Cup playoff time where I get to see any and all games that I want.

I must admit, I was converted to hockey by my southern Alberta wife. At the time we met, my parents were in Edmonton at the Institute there and my wife had just come from nursing school in Edmonton as well. It really makes no sense that I'm an Edmonton fan except for those two things. Most of nieces and nephews are Flames fans, with a couple Oiler fans mixed in and one or two Leafs fans.

I was really hoping for more Flames' success because I like all my nieces and nephews and wanted them to be happy.
