I don't think it's as big of a loss for the Clippers as some make it out to be. With him out, it just means Chris Paul will have the ball in hands more and take more of the load, which he is fully capable of doing. JJ Reddick has a better +/- this season than Griffin, so I don't think he is all that pivotal to their success.
Compare that to the loss of Gobert, it isn't nearly as impactful.
