In the first case, it was lame that passengers were being removed involuntarily. But you don't run back on the plane and go limp when they try to remove you, all the while squeaking like some kind of primate.
And the lady with the baby could have avoided the whole thing by letting them gate check her stroller. She was way out of line.
I'm not excusing the airline in either incident. But the way most people are treating the passengers glorifies behavior that will only lead to future and bigger problems.
Meanwhile, people that simply comply with getting off the plane or letting go of the stroller get comparatively little for their troubles.
When I was first married I was given advice I often repeat. Sometimes it's better to be righteous than right. As humans we're so anxious to not budge an inch if we think we're right. Not every battle is worth the fight.
