the reason he didn't end up at BYU was that he didn't want to be behind Emery and Haws, two guys that need/want the ball in their hands. Po'Poola said he wants the ball in his hands and he feels he had a better shot at doing that at Utah than BYU right now.
I don't think that's earth-shattering news, but it does make me wonder how many other recruits have been scared off by the legend on the "LP-3" and their national high school basketball title. For instance, is that why the Wade kid from Davis High who is on a mission signed with Gonzaga instead of us?
