The "warning" part of it is just so the poster knows that his/her post was changed. IIRC, there's a fairly lengthy
boardmail that is sent to let the poster know that they aren't in trouble, just that their post was re-catergorized.
I can't speak to why the post was re-catergorized because I stay out of those unseemly categories. I would suspect that it was changed because the discussion devolved into a political pile of dung, as so many things do on here.
