Spending money and traveling is more fun when you are younger as you have your health and you can do more. Even though traveling with my kids is stressful it creates more memories and is more impactful in a good way than anything else we do. I'm not advocating blowing all your money and never saving (like most seem to do in this country) but the other way I've seen happen far too often as well. They just wait for that time when they are 50 or 60 and then they will have their fun. But health, missions, disasters get in the way and they don't get it then either. The movie Up illustrates my point pretty well.
