Another ridiculous SL Trib statement.
"The University of Utah is the warp core of our state's economic, scientific, artistic and creative endeavors. Nothing else comes close."
Maybe in the medical field, but BYU doesn't come close? I mean, last time I checked BYU is producing a lot of STEM majors that are helping to fuel Silicon Slopes. Last time I checked BYU had the best business school in the state. I could make an argument on the "creative endeavors" as well. Saying that nothing else comes close is a pretty laughable statement.
