Salaries and the modern reality
If you want to be in the 1% the easiest way is Dentist or Doctor
If you want to be in the .05% the easiest way is to get an MBA and open you own business
If you want to be in the .001% go to Harvard/Stanford/Yale, start your own business and take it public.
Now none of them are easy and all of them basically require working 18hrs/day...but Doctors don't sacrifice any more than other well to do people....they just take more training.
