Anyone know much about Jacob Smith? He's listed as 6'6 and 315 with offers from us, Iowa St, Minnesota, Purdue and Wisconsin. Yet for some reason he is our only 2 star commit and doesn't have a positional ranking. He was also a 2015 Adidas Freshman All-American. That's all according to scout, link below.

I don't get the ranking system at all and I know it's flawed, but does anyone know anything about him? Has he continued to play at a high level? With size and offers like that he's one of the several OL commits I'm excited about.

And just to be clear, not bashing this kid at all for not being highly rated, just curious as to why it is. I think he'll be a fantastic cougar regardless of how many starts he ends up with.
