because I didn't go to the Y.
A few days ago I was at a fund raising golf tournament when a dairy yewt noticed my Y hat and asked if I went there. I said that I went to SUU and he replies with "oh, one of those." I didn't really know how to take it so I just asked him how many die hard SUU fans he knows.
Most of the yewt fans I know didn't go to the yew but they don't get any flack for it.
I've been a Y fan as long as I can remember and that's not going to change just because I don't have alumni status.
