When you live in SEC country, getting a win over one of their "big boys"
is a skin on the wall for decades to come. To a smaller extent, the same holds true for BIG 12 country (i.e. wins over OU, UT). The SEC fanbases eat, drink, breath college football and they are historians and students of the game. It's their collective life. While those fanbases may know of our rivalry with Utah and maybe even check in on the game or boxscore, that does not register with them. It does not move the barometer. You need to play one of their teams - beat one of their big boys on a national stage.

I get both sides, I do. But when you're living in the South around all those crazy SEC fans, it's very simple to understand why the answer should always and will always be LSU over Utah. Every time.
