I grew up in SoCal, attended BYU. Got a small taste of the rivalry when I attended the 1997 game as a freshman - BYU lost 20-14. After the game some Ute fans were talking smack and flipping the bird to my room mates and me. Last year I moved my family to Utah county - I get it now. Bottom line, BYU football is a punchline in the state of Utah. I can't take it anymore. My mental health may suffer if BYU loses again.
