in retrospect it wasn't very successful, and hurt our program. It really hurt our o-line, TEs, QBs, and harmed team depth and/or recruiting at those positions. It put unnecessary stress on our defense.

Do I think the scheme can be successful at other universities? Yes. It has been and already is. Was it a good fit for us? No.

Again, I'm eating a certain amount of crow on this. I believed it could work here. (It didn't.) I thought it could give us a winning edge. (It didn't.) I thought we could outwork, outpace, and wear out teams. (If we did it wasn't enough to make enough difference to change the outcome of games except maybe a couple of times.)
