There are no offenses that aren't bad if you aren't
good in the trenches. That offense actually mitigates the weakness by optioning the DE rather than blocking him.
BYU set rushing records against Texas with some of the weakest offensive lines we've ever had.
Having said that, I think moving to a system that calls for bigger OLs and TEs is a move in the right direction.
