I am so excited for football season but we are kidding ourselves if we don't think that playing LSU and Derrius Guice will be a huge test. If, and that is a huge IF, we can hold Guice under 100 yards I think we could stay competitive and have a chance to win this, but I think Guice will be one of the top D1 running backs this next season, and will be the best back we face.

We also face a quality player in Wisconsin TE Troy Fumagalli, even though he is a walk-on and doesn't have deep stats, he is impressive in some of the catches he made this past year. He was extremely dependable on the field and is the current top-rated 2018 TE prospect for the NFL. He is a player.

While we have the ability to beat both of these teams, how we contain these players will be significant if we can win the games.

I believe that with the brutal schedule to start the season, we will end up going 2-2 through the first four with wins over Portland State and Utah (both pretty comparable teams - TIC for the Ute Cougarboard followers) and losses to LSU and Wisconsin. I believe that we will then go 9-0 through the rest of the season and will finish up 11-2 and ranked in the top 15. We could have a tough time with Boise State but I still think we will win this game by 10.
