instead of just what you see on paper. I don't care what happened under Hill last year. This is not Hill. BYU lost 3 starting linemen. Don't know if there's a team in the country that can immediately prep for that and be just fine. The OL was also really behind because of Anae's system. This isn't the first year in the system. The talk from the coaches, both about the players and about themselves, is how different things have been simply because it's not brand new anymore. They're not spending time installing things. They're not really teaching as much as just getting better with repetition.
It's just a little annoying to see "well last year taught us..." This is college football. Things can change drastically from year to year. I guess I just expect a tiny bit more thought put into it all than talking about the year before as a standard.
