Every time I tell myself to just go with the flow, but I don't and then I feel my irritation rising. From my perspective they are so disorganized. When we are supposed to meet at 1 p.m, they show up at 1:30. When getting KFC for a picnic, they decide that the biscuits are too unhealthy (not the chicken fried in grease, but the biscuits) so then we have to go find a grocery store to get rolls.

Then after the picnic, they want to go put flowers on the graves. But instead of having the flowers, we have to go back to the grocery store, only for them to decide the flowers there aren't what they want, so we have to go elsewhere. Then we finally get the flowers and have to go to cemetery #1. We spend a reasonable amount of time there, but then they want to go to cemetery #2 all the way across town.

I really want to improve my attitude, and I really want to respect the dead. But man I get frustrated. Other holidays are similar. I guess I just need to realize that it comes with the territory.
