Observations from the recently-released depth chart - Offense
1. Looks like the backup QB spot is still up for grabs between Beau Hoge and Koy Detmer.
2. Not sure what is going on at RB but it looks as if all six RBs are still in contention for a starting spot. I find that hard to believe, so I wonder if Reno Mahe is trying to motivate some players there.
3. Despite his great spring Matt Bushman is listed as third-string.
4. Looks like Tanner Balderee slimmed down to become more of a receiving TE. Considering MLP and Bushman are more in the mold of a receiving TE I think it's safe to say the TEs will get more balls thrown their way this year.
5. I heard Thomas Shoaf was closer to 300 pounds, but he is listed at 275. I guess we'll see how he looks come the start of fall camp.
6. At RT Austin Hoyt and Kieffer Longson are battling for the starting spot. Kieffer is now up to 318 - seems as though the redshirt year was a good one for him.
7. Talon Shumway is listed as the starter over Micah Simon. A lot of people are high on Micah - looks like the coaches are even higher on Talon.

The list of RBs is very interesting. Canada is listed first. Ula is listed 2nd. Then Hall, Dye, Burt and finally
