In case you want to feel small and insignificant: the largest structure or
formation in the known universe is believed by some scientists to be the Hercules-Corona Borealis Great Wall galactic superstructure, or supercluster of galaxies, discovered in 2013. It contains billions of galaxies and is 6-10 billion light years across. It is about 10 billion light years away from earth (light-travel distance), so anything we detect from this formation today occurred about 5-6 billion years before the earth was formed.

The scale of the universe is truly staggering.
