yet another reason to drive older cars. I think people view door dings as part
of doing business and it's just part of owning and driving a car.. Oops, I have hammered your car, I'll try to be better in the future.. but not worthy of leaving a note and getting insurance involved. I believe this is how people view that.
It's just easier to not have nice cars and be bummed out when they get a ding. Just one less thing to worry about
