think the battery in the key fob is dead because she can no longer start the car or lock/unlock the doors. At first the lights/radio/etc. would turn on, but now nothing will work. Any ideas on what this might be? Or how to get a batter to the middle of no where? She has a tow truck from road side assistance through our insurance company coming, but all they will do is tow it to the nearest dealership.

Some people at the rest stop tested the battery for her and said it had plenty of charge...

The car only has 25K miles on it, so it shouldn't be something mechanical, like an alternator, but who knows...

Now she is stuck in the middle of no where with my four kids. Yikes. She's freaking out a bit and I'm 12 hours away and can't really help.
