I for one would take Utah's results over ours any day of the week post-Lavell. Let's not go
overboard.

Recordwise, Utah has dominated BYU in football post-Lavell.....we can spin it all we want but need to realize it is an unfortunate truth. 2 BCS wins were big. Recently the have competed in the PAC12. We have had above average results against a worse schedule, some outlier years. Give credit where it is due, since 2001 Utah has had better football success.

Saying Utah can't win a conference championship is silly. No rational BYU fan believes we would have won the P12 in those years. We have not had many top wins in recent years (OU was a great win), but beating average or below average P5 teams is not the same as expecting that BYU would beat Oregon (when good), USC, Stanford, UCLA and another good team or two based on the year....not likely and have seen nothing to show we would have done that to win the conference.

Can all this change with KS. Yes, I believe it can and will. That being said we need to realize Utah as done better the past 15-20 years.....now we need to be better for a run.

I want us to be the better team, but acting as silly as some U fans (opposite direction) does not make us a better program.
