What's odd about it are the common mistake many BYU
guys make. Start with the presumption BYU is superior and then look at all data from that respective to confirm the bias.

For example, you question UUs SOS regarding scheduling. UU is it a conference that requires 9 conference game, including 4-5 tough road games every year.

Then you have to add BYU to that. Now, if UU is consistently ranked team. And if your theory is BYU is innately better, then they should be in very difficult opponent. Why go out and be more aggressive schedule when you have nothing to gain?

You type did it anyway by scheduling a home and home with Michigan. Played a very "Michigan team and one; a win that you're quick to open discredit.

Most of UUs out of conference games have been against MW teams and BYU. The value of UUs dominant performance is a great indication of where Utah would be if it was still in the MountainWest.

Here's the harsh reality. BYU built its the brand by constantly beating up WAC teams. They put a huge, widely recognized ceiling thought th by constantly losing to the power teams. For example, the best win vs. Miami was followed up by five straight losses to power five conference teams.

So really, the strength of the program is it's ability to consistently beat weaker teams.

When Utah left them the MW, it was the winningest program. For Utah to leave and go on to completely dominate all non-BCS opponents since, shows UU has surpassed BYU at its own greatest strength.
