Agreed to your first point. Second point
NFL. Utah places its players. That's a huge edge for upper tier 3-star or lower tier 4-star guys.

I think we UU cares about losing out on some of the top tier talent to BYU; but UUs pool is so much larger, the impact is nearly as dramatic. Case in point, Troy Hinds.

A huge get for BYU and some considered a UU lean. To BYU fans, it spelled the end of Utah football and the start of a new trend.

When UU coaches said they were perfectly happy with Dimmick; that was considered defensive denial.

Clearly, UU hasn't missed having Troy.

Same with Jamaal Williams. Huge get for BYU over Utah. UU still would love to have had him. But in the end, things turned out really well for Utah, either way.

It was a loss, but nothing irreplaceable.
