Ben, who is a massive bronco fan btw, said bronco essentially sheltered kids from the NFL and scouts and sabotaged their careers. He said that although kids on the team had the measurables and ability, bronco would tell scouts few or none of his kids were NFL potential guys.

He threw out specific cases of guys who produced and had the numbers but who he knows we bronco downplayed to scouts. He despises the NFL and not only didn't do anything to help kids get there...He held kids back.

It's no wonder Utah pulled away and usu narrowed the gap under bronco. Recruiting was really suffering by the end and his perspective on the NFL and recruiting was a large reason why.
