to be in the rotation. These types of hard experiences for people and not being able to make everyone happy would still continue even if Rose were fired and replaced by someone else who we thought was more friendly.
I would strongly prefer upsetting some people occasionally than the opposite - pandering to someone who comes from a BYU legacy family even if the coach's opinion is that the guy does not deserve to start.
That is good if Chatman loves his kids more than he loves BYU. I know nothing about the daughter situation, but if the guy has a son playing at Boston College it makes sense to me that the dad would step back in his fandom for BYU at least for awhile while his son represents Boston College.
More important is if the dad is holding onto his faith and the church despite whatever unpleasant situation they got into with BYU.
