Going on a backpacking trip to the Absarokee Beartooth wilderness in Montana next week. Lots of mountain lakes up there, and I hear the fishing can be pretty good. Elevation is from 6600-9000 feet. I know that they mostly have trout (brown, cutthroat, rainbow, some brook). We're not going to do any fly fishing. Any ideas about what kind of lures I should try? I'll admit that I'm not a fisherman at all. I honestly don't even know where to start, so any help would be appreciated.
