I am sitting here wondering what really makes a passing game elite. Obviously the O-line plays into that question quite a bit but taking them out of the equation, is an eilte QB or elite receivers the key to success?

You look back at a guy like Cody Hoffman, he lit it up with a guy like Riley Nelson throwing to him (no offense Riley).

At the same time its hard to argue that a guy like Ty Detmer, or Steve Young was only great because of their receivers.
