Will never be like ____. Etc. Plus the automatic assumption that all people are the same. That everyone even in this profession chases money. Not one single thing has ever indicated Sitake is interested in anything but BYU as a dream job, but there's always the assumption.
People have that attitude with recruiting too, but it's clearly changing whether they want to accept it or not. Some people are so battered, they play good things off as a fluke. Good gravy have some confidence in your program.
It's always about making sure you don't set yourself up for disappointment. If you never expect anything, you can always play it off as an expectation and be more "comfortable" in your fandom.
