My problem is I set such a high bar with Christopher Nolan at this point, that if I don't leave his movie mentally tripping about what I just saw, there is a bit of a let down. This being a more historic, patriotic film of his country, it obviously couldn't have that, but I enjoy he and his brothers creative writing just as much as his directing, especially in psychological thrillers....
If anyone else would have directed this film I would have walked away gitty about the film... Being that its Mr. Nolan, part of me missed his fictional story telling. There was just only so much he could with this story, and he definitely maximized it.
