Even the 501c's of the world.... not all of them are benevolent. He has a personal bias and he's killing three birds with one stone.
1. He hates the way taxes are levied on the rich. (I assume a 75% tax wouldn't be enough for him on the extreme wealthy.)
2. He hates golf because its the plaything of the elitists he detests.
3. He's making a few bucks and filling content on a machine that disperses cash to him at his whim.
