50 and older. I was talking to a doctor when I had them and he said since
they started giving the chicken pox vaccine in the 90's to babies, it made adults who had already had chicken pox more susceptible to Shingles because they were not being exposed to kids with chicken pox anymore. Apparently Shingles cases have exploded in middle age adults in the last 15 years. And I'm reading a lot of cases of people getting them more than once more often now too. Really sucky deal.
