Lol... he was not that motivated before the series.
He actually sped up writing for a bit and plot development because HBO insisted.
But I think they finally gave up on George as well. The guy may never finish the series.
He should call Brian Sanderson, he helped Robert Jordan with WOT, and I think GOT
is heading that direction where big ole George will be dead from a heart attack or old
age before he finishes.
