I think we see things the same. I don't necessary prefer the deep ball, I like
the way Ty played last year. But the passing game was very vanilla due to the skill set of the QB. Tanner can make the passes better that Beau, whether short or long.
I am assuming this based on the fact that there isn't a QB competition. I don't think Ty wants to throw deeps balls all game long. My guess is he'd like to try 5-8 a game (based on the defense) to keep them on their toes and allow the play action and run game to open up.
