College football became a topic of conversation. He asked me my thoughts on this years BYU vs Utah game and I honestly sat there for a few seconds and didn't know what to say. What did come to me was a sense of fear and anxiety. We started talking about the last few times we've faced each other and I got a pit in my stomach. It's been 9 hours and I'm still feeling anxious.

We've got to beat those guys this year. I have a son who is a diehard BYU fan. He's almost 8. He asked me if BYU has ever beaten Utah because he couldn't remember. I told him he's witnessed a BYU victory. Unfortunately he was 2 months old.

I love when BYU wins football games but I'm not even going to deny or act like a win over the U won't make or break the season for me. It's the biggest game of the season for me and it is not even close.
