My wife and I are "shut ins'. We're all sports BYU fans. I'm on a walker and she has dementia.
She loves football...my favorite is basketball but when football season comes around we can't wait.
It doesn't matter win or lose but seeing the boys and girls compete changes the same old routine
for us.
When I told her this afternoon that football games start 2 weeks, she smiled and I knew she understood
what I meant. So happy (which is very seldom).
Lets enjoy this season cougars. No matter win or lose, we will cheer (loudly) even while we're home
bound in our apartment here in Austin Texas
Love CB and I think I'm surrounded with great friends here.
Just don't make the games too exciting especially at the end because I have a serious heart condition.
I actually experience angina attacks when things get too tense.
