Bronco is a big fat jerk for not going for it in 4th down in this game. He let everyone down, and that loss was 100% on him. That week on Inside BYU Football he preached 24 points. 24 points, 24 points, 24 points. He even threw out a stat that in BYU's previous 100 games where they scored 24 points, they won 97 of them.

Then, inside UCLA's 10 yard line, on 3rd and 5, while leading by 3, Anae hands the ball to who? Nathan Freaking Carter.... There was something like 4 minutes left in the game and Bronco gave UCLA exactly what they needed. He drew a line in the sand. Kicked a FG, went up by 6, and told UCLA that they needed a touchdown to win.

Had BYU gone for on 4th and not converted, UCLA takes over very deep in their own territory knowing they only needed a FG to tie.... Very VERY good chance that at worst that game goes to OT. Instead we lose 24 - 23...
